沿革
大正7年	旧関東州大連市に於いて医薬品輸入卸売業大正堂を創業。
昭和9年	関東軍及び南満州鉄道株式会社への納品のため製薬部門を設立。
昭和10年	旧満州国新京市に支店。天津、北京に営業所を設立。
昭和22年	終戦により引き揚げ、現在地に於いて、再建、戦後の第一歩を踏み出す。
昭和34年	株式会社大正堂の特殊薬品部門を分離独立し大正薬品工業株式会社を設立。医療用医薬品製造に進出
昭和53年	GMP適合工場建設
平成7年	本社並びに新GMP工場竣工
平成10年	液剤工場増築
平成17年	研究開発棟竣工
平成18年	新GMP工場増築
平成21年	興和テバ株式会社と資本・業務提携

History
1918	Taishodo founded in Talien, in the former Kwantung Province, to import and market pharmaceutical goods.
1934	Production department established in order to supply the Kwantung army and the South Manchuria Railway Company.
1935	Branch opened in Changchun, in the former Manchuria. Office opened in Peking, Tientsin.
1947	Repatriated at end of World War II, company rebuilt and new start made at present premises.
1959	Taisho Pharmaceutical Industries established when the Special Medicines department of Taishodo became independent. Extension into manufacture of medical pharmaceutical supplies.
1978	Construction of a plant in conformity with GMP.
1995	Construction of headquarters building and new GMP plant.
1998	Expansion of Medicated-drinks plant.
2005	Construction of Research & Development Center.
2006	Expansion of GMP plant.
2009	Involved in business alliance with Teva-KOWA Pharma Co.,Ltd.
