当社は大正7年創業という、長い歴史を持っております。この間、医薬品の販売及び製造販売を通して社会に貢献して参りました。
今後もこれまで培ってきた技術を糧に、患者様、ドクター、薬剤師様などのニーズに沿った医薬品を開発、提供していく所存です。
近年、社会は高齢化が進み、ジェネリック医薬品の需要は益々高まって来ていますが、信頼されるメーカーとしてその使命を果たすためにも、安定供給、品質確保、情報提供に努めております。
また、医療の現場では患者様の治療効果向上のため、多様なお薬の使われ方がされています。当社もこの要望に応えるべく、現場で使ってもらい易い、患者様が飲み易い、特徴ある製品開発に注力して参ります。
その実現に向けて、創意工夫と努力すること、そして、当社の所在する滋賀県が生んだ近江商人の商法である「三方よし」(売り手よし、買い手よし、世間よし)の気持ちを忘れずに歩みたいと考えております。会社の発展と共に社会への貢献が出来ること、これが社員一同の望みです。

Founded originally in 1918 and incorporated in 1959, our company has been in business, boasting a long history. From the day of establishment, we have been making great contributions to society through manufacturing, sales and distribution of generic prescription drugs.
With all of our accumulated experiences and technologies, we are determined to continue to excel in development and supply of generic drugs which meet the needs of patients and medical experts like doctors and pharmacists.
As Japan is well on the way to an aging society, the demand for generic drugs are rising dramatically each year by year. To carry out our missions as a trusted Generic Pharma Company, we make every effort to improve stable supply, quality assurance and provision of substantial information.
Meanwhile in clinical practice, drugs are being used in very diverse ways to improve therapeutic effect. To meet with these requirements we are focusing generous efforts on developing new products which are easy to dose and also very patient-friendly.
There was an old motto among Ohmi merchants; "Three good sides", which means "for the seller, for the buyer and for the country" (Ohmi is the historical name for part of Shiga prefecture) We will never forget the spirit. We will never forget to continue to try and innovate, and work together for many years to come. To realize 'Company development' and 'Contribution to society'---This is our goal.
